The Real Benefit of Taking Cold Showers for 30 Days
I know what you’re thinking → “Oh Man! Another “Wim Hof” article about how useful and how many benefits we will have by taking cold showers for 30 days”.
Well, you’re right, that’s exactly what I’m going to talk about, but from my perspective and not without telling you about the less pleasant things that most people forget to point out.
First, I will tell you how I decided to start the 30-day cold shower journey:
- It was a Saturday morning in January with -7 degrees outside, a coffee, and a Ted Talk on this subject.
- Being very curious about the benefits presented on this Ted Talk, I started looking to other sources for information about cold showers.
- I learned from these articles that there are not many studies that scientifically prove that there are physical or mental benefits.
- In fact, the only clinical study ever conducted resulted in people taking cold showers for 30 days missing 29% less from work. What can I say? Very attractive.
